The service enables consumers to transfer money, track the status and view history of their transactions 24/7 from any part of the country using computer or mobile. It is available in over 200 countries from a starting fee of QR 15.

HOW TO START

Transferring money has never been easier, follow the simple registration steps below and start sending money online from home, office or on the go.

1. Download the App   or register through wu.com web portal.
2. Register using Qatar Mobile number.
3. Create a password and enter all the details and tap “Register”.

4. Verify your mobile number and click “Request Code”

5. Enter OTP receive and click SUBMIT.

Choose between physical and online verification:

• Physical verification (Verify your identity by visiting one of Alfardan Exchange branches)
• Online ID verification by following below steps:

1. Choose the country of Birth and Nationality then click “CONTINUE”
2. Review your QID details and tap “CONTINUE”
3. Confirm your address
4. Select Occupation based on the QID.
5. Take a photo of your QID from front side.
6. Take a photo of your QID from back side.
7. Take a selfie following on-screen instructions and click Continue button
8. Alfardan Exchange customer service agent will verify your registration and you will receive a confirmation to your email.

HOW TO SEND MONEY ONLINE WITH WESTERN UNION

1. Login to your online profile.
2. Choose the destination country, transfer amount and delivery method (cash).
3. Review the details of your transaction and tip mark the box before clicking SUBMIT
4. Confirm your transaction details and pay with a debit card issued in Qatar.
5. Provide you card details and pay with a debit card issued in Qatar.
6. The MTCN/ Tracking number will be displayed after a successful payment and can be viewed in the History section, and you will get a confirmation email. Save the MTCN and give it to the receiver so that they can collect/ pick up the money.

HOW MUCH CAN I TRANSFER ONLINE

Western union digital online service is designed for Individual cash pick-up, bank account, and mobile wallet transfers anywhere in the world. You can send up to 34,500.00 QAR (9,500USD) per transfer and 50,000.00 QAR per week.
