Alfardan Exchange hosts officials from Central Bank of Oman

A delegation from the Central Bank of Oman visited Alfardan Exchange recently. The delegation headed by Bader Al-Aghbari, Vice President – financial services and operations, and was also accompanied by representatives from Qatar central bank.

The objective of the visit was to view the best practices followed by Alfardan Exchange in terms of real time reporting and monitoring financial transactions. During the visit, a comprehensive presentation was given about the real time reporting and all related technical aspects. The presentation was given by the Anti money laundering department and IT department of Alfardan Exchange.

At the end of their visit , the delegates expressed their impression concerning the high class practices adopted by Alfardan Exchange. On the other hand, Qatar central bank representatives reiterated the advance status of Alfardan Exchange in Qatar in terms of compliance to Qatar central bank standards.
